I usually have a great experience at the dealership but not this time. I made an appointment at the dealership for an oil change. It took over 4 hours and my oil didn't get changed. I had to leave to go to work. The staff said it was an injury in the back but never seen EMS on site.

I had to wait 4 hours for a transmission oil change and pay $300 dollars. Valvoline would have done it in 20 minutes and only charge about 180. That with tax. That is ridiculous that y’all overcharge and make me wait that long. It shows y’all are not professional as you claim.

The customer service was good. I was able to get what I needed completed with the tire, not the diagnostic. The wait for a tire was 2 hours. Entirely to long, just to get one new tire .

The young boy with the purple hair that changed my oil stripped my drain plug and the next day oil had leaked in my garage plus I drove it from up there leaking and didn't know it and jacob wants to tell it was nothing on their part. Who believes that, it was leaking when I took it in. Jacob wants me to believe it comes from changing oil a lot taking the plug in and out. I know better because I've not had that many oil changes. I only have 14,000 miles. Businesses need to stop lieing to customers and own up to their mistakes.....the mistake couldn't have happened on my behalf because I didn't have an oil leak when I took my truck in...it speaks for itself. Thanks

I spoke with two different service advisors and both told me two different things concerning how long it would take for the issue would be resolve with my vehicle. When I inquired about a loaner vehicle I founded out after speaking with the Assist GM, I was lied to about a loaner vehicle. Both informed me that I would receive a call with an update on my vehicle status. I never received a call. I had to call them each time. I even had to show up at the dealership to make a complaint, that was the only way I received a call back. If I can help it, I will never use your service department again. And I will never again tell friends or family members to buy a vehicle from this location.

Had an appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation. After 2 hours I asked for an update and they said they just pulled it in. Didn’t leave until 3.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time. Nice employees, but 3.5 hours is unacceptable for a simple oil change and tire rotation especially when I am sitting in the lobby. What is the point in making an appointment if the car won’t get serviced until two hours later.

I dropped my truck off Monday morning. Never heard back from the technician. I had to call and he stated that he’s waiting for someone to check it out. Never heard back. Call back Tuesday morning no one answered. Called in the afternoon and he stated that he’s waiting on the part to be ordered. He never stated the part had to be ordered , nor that I needed to leave my truck to wait on a part until I called. I left my truck there for three days. I work and that left me without a vehicle. Never mentioned I could have a loaner or anything. Pick my truck up on Friday afternoon. I had to call once again to verify how everything was going. Now I’m having the same problem with my truck that I had the week I dropped it off for three days. Stating they fixed my truck.

It was smooth and easy for the most part. Until we went to leave with the vehicle we were purchasing and saw a big dent in it. The told us it cii oh ups be removed, but if we still saw it, it was psychological. Then once we decided to swap to a different car, almost the same one, we did all the paperwork and they brought it back to detail it at 4:00 pm. We left to get something to eat and come back and by 6:30, it still wasn’t detailed and the detail guys were gone for the day. There wasn’t many people there buying cars, so we thought since we swapped cars and brought the other back to get cleaned up, it would take priority, but it didn’t. We brought it home and then had to bring it back the next day to get detailed, which took maybe an hour to do. They said that the detail crews are 3rd party, but when you have people making big purchases like that, they don’t need to leave until the dealership closes, in my opinion. So people can be taken care of properly. The dent, we know things like that can happen in transport, so that wasn’t a big deal. It’s just not seeing it before we were about to leave with it and when we questioned things about it being taken out, it was said that if we did still see it, it was in our head. So that kind of rubbed us the wrong way. Other than those two things, everything was good.

My experience at GMC/Buick Shreveport: it took 3 hours for an oil change. I made an appointment for 10am and they didn't complete it until after 1pm. It looked like there were three people waiting when I arrived. I saw one guy leave and had to come right back because they didn't clear the codes and one guy had an airbag recall and had to come right back inside because part of the airbag was left hanging out his steering wheel when they finished it. When he came back inside, they asked him what happened to the airbag, and he told them that's the way it was given back to him. That does not instill confidence and that is a SAFETY issue. When I arrived, the person who came out to me wanted me to make arrangements to drop it off, telling me that it would be 2 hours FOR AN OIL CHANGE. I asked if I should reschedule and I was told that it always takes two hours for an oil change. I think that having to make arrangements with someone else to drop off my vehicle for an oil change is a lot of inconvenience to both of us, not to mention ridiculous. This was my first experience with GMC/Buick Shreveport with any GMC/Buick. A lady that was waiting had arrived before 9am waiting for an oil change and she had a 9am appointment and had verified with them that she would to be to work by noon, I think she was late to work. This kind of stuff never happened at Nissan. It seemed like whoever drove my vehicle adjusted everything inside my vehicle that can be adjusted, and the center console was left dirty. The inside of my car is light gray. I guess they didn't cover the console. All the rest of that day I kept looking at the pavement to see if oil was leaking because I had zero confidence in their abilities. A guy that arrived after me stated that he is a returning customer and that they have a "bad management issue" and they don't seem to work together or communicate with each other. Not a good first impression. Not looking forward to future service appointments. I can't imagine how long that oil change would take if I hadn't made an appointment, wow!

I had a message on truck stating “service water in fuel”. I was told that fuel system was contaminated & it would be over a week before They could get my truck in for repairs. I traded the truck. On that day it had the $9,500 repairs done. That did not fix the problem. It was a sensor on the fuel filter housing.

I wanted to talk to someone and called and left 2 voicemail on the third call I go a person and before he could tell me about my truck he said somebody came in and he would have to call me back. We had a 9:30AM appointment and arrived on time, but there was no one onsite to greet us when we pulled our vehicle into the service lane. When we went inside the service center waiting area there was a car salesman poring a cup of coffee- he didn’t greet us nor did he imply whether someone would be coming to assist us. I walked over to the cashier desk and found two children sitting behind the station. Eventually, someone appeared outside who was checking in a vehicle that pulled up minutes after we arrived. My son met the man outside to let him know of our appointment we’d schedule for an oil change and service. Our wait wasn’t unreasonable but there was no recap given to us about our vehicle explaining what was done or what was recommended. We found after checking out that an air filter was replaced. However, we weren’t told that a new air filter was needed. Our vehicle began leaking fluid and the check engine light came on a few hours following the service experience. Due to the poor customer service or I should say the lack of customer service I refuse to take my vehicle back to this place and end up being charged ridiculously for something that their service center caused. I would not recommend this dealership or service center to anyone.

I had an appointment at 11:00. At 2:30 I checked to see where my car was in the queue. The shop hadn’t even started on the car. I left after 2 1/2 with nothing done. VERY disappointed. I bought my car from this dealership n have all maintenance done since I bought it. I didn’t pitch a fit - just asked my car. This is the first time I have experienced this at this dealership. It was easy getting an appointment through the App. The GMC app is a really useful tool. The turn around for the service was quick. When dropped off my truck, I told the service adviser that there was a glitch in the infotainment system and ask him if the they would check it out. I have only owned the truck for about 90 days at the time and I thought I would wait until my first service to have it looked at. But he informed me I would have to leave the truck 5 days in order for them to look at it. Needless to say, I was a little taken back since I just purchased this vehicle. I cannot go without a vehicle for 5 days. He then said to check back in a couple months and they might be able to get it to 2-3 day wait. So I came to pick up the truck and asked the adviser if they checked the tire pressures and he said he would check them with me just to make sure. The tires were rotated but the pressures were not set. On this truck, it calls for the front tires at 60 psi and rear at 70 psi so it is important for the tires to be set properly. Jeff the adviser went ahead and corrected the pressures. After I left, I check the DEF level and it was not topped off as promised either for the first service. I don't need the DEF because I can afford it but the team leader there really needs to get customer service back at the fore front and have some pride in what they are doing. Now I'm thinking if they missed something else, is my oil drain plug tightened, etc.. As a new customer that spent $90k on a new truck, I would think the company that represents GM would want to make sure that person feels they can rely on the dealership for the proper care. At least, on a new truck purchase. The part that really bothers me is the 5 day wait on something that should not be happening when I drove it off the lot. There should be a system like the other dealerships that you make a calendar service date and drop the vehicle off that day the issue will be looked at like. Not leave it for 5 days. I don't need anyone calling me or offering anything for free. I just thought you might want to have your guys actually follow through when they all say customers are our priority in the morning team meetings.

We made an appointment for 11:30am and arrived a little early, but it was still after 1pm before they started on my vehicle. What is the point of making an appointment, if your department is not concerned about keeping up their end of the bargain by honoring the appointment time? We were not the only ones who were inconvenienced by the lack of initiative by the service department; many others had been waiting longer than we had.

The service people were excellent and very nice! However, I was told there was nothing wrong with my car after it was there for multiple days. I then took it to another GMC dealership that identified the problem and were able to fix it. Also poor scheduling in my opinion if you have to wait days for your car to be assessed and have an appointment. This is my first GMC and am not impressed with the service.

I spoke to my service rep in advance about my check-engine light coming on. It was not flashing, but it would come on and just sit there for a day or two, then go off again. He said I needed to drop my car off and leave it for 2 or 3 days so that they could hook it up to the diagnostic tool and read the codes to determine what was wrong. I was first in line at 7:30 am on 11/12/25 and dropped my car off. They dropped me off at work, and that afternoon I rented a vehicle to use while my car was in the shop. I called to check on my vehicle on the afternoon of 11/14, basically the third full day that they had my car, and I was told that no one had looked at it yet. I called again on the afternoon of 11/17; same response. And I called yet again on 11/18, actually 5 working days (not counting the weekend) after I had dropped my car off on 11/12. And I got the same response: No one had even looked at the car yet. I reminded the service rep that I had been renting a car for a week now and could not afford to just keep waiting like this with no explanation of what was wrong, how long it would take to fix it or how much it might cost. I asked if the shop could just replace the battery and let me pick my car up the next day, and he said yes. And on 11/19, that is what happened. I still have no satisfactory explanation of why no one even opened the hood of my car in 5 working days. In addition to paying for a new battery, I spent another $300 to rent a car. My question: If this were your wife’s car or your daughter’s car, is this the level of service YOU would be satisfied with? What service department lets a car sit untouched for 5 working days? I think 2 or 3 days is reasonable if your shop is very busy or perhaps short-handed. I think 5 days is unconscionable and unforgivable.

During our test drive of a 2025 Buick Enclave, I noticed a rattle coming from the driver’s side door. After bringing this to the dealership’s attention, they discovered a missing clip that was supposed to secure the door panel and told me a replacement panel would be required. We decided to purchase the Enclave with the agreement that the dealership would install a new door panel once it arrived. However, after waiting two weeks without any updates, I called the dealership myself to inquire about the part. They informed me that the door panel had arrived, so I scheduled a service appointment and dropped the vehicle off at 8:30 AM. Later that day, the dealership notified me that the repair was complete, and my wife picked up the car at 5:00 PM. When I returned home, I inspected the door to see if the rattle had been resolved. Unfortunately, the issue persisted and, according to my wife, seemed even worse than before the repair. I plan to contact my service writer again to see what can be done to properly address the problem. Over the years, I have purchased five vehicles from this dealership. While I have always had positive experiences with my salesman and my service writer, I’ve noticed a decline in the quality of work performed by the service department. As a result, I can no longer recommend buying a vehicle here based on their maintenance standards.

Came in for an oil change and a new battery. Almost could have got out quicker than normal but forgot to ask them to look at the battery since I recently had to jumpstart it. They had to look at the battery which I assumed that was part of the oil change process but I was wrong. Come to find out, I had to get a new battery which I figured. They did that quick also ! Dropped my truck off the evening before my appointment. The next day they called and said that my vehicle was ready and I told them that it would be 6 o’clock by the time I could get there. They said no problem if I couldn’t get there before six because they close at six that somebody would call me and I would Pay my balance over the phone and they would leave the keys with the secretary. I showed up at five minutes after six they had already left so I went to the secretary and she didn’t know anything about it so that was a waste of time out of my schedule. Went back the next morning to pick up my vehicle And when I dropped the vehicle off, I told them to grease my fittings and change the fuel filter along with the oil. They did not change the fuel filter and did not grease anything.

I have brought my vehicle in for service five times regarding the same concerns. To date, three parts have been replaced, yet one of the original issues remains unresolved. During one visit, the issue was initially implied to be user error, which was frustrating, as the concern was legitimate and ongoing. I ultimately returned with video documentation to demonstrate the problem, but despite this, the issue still has not been corrected. My primary concern is that if this matter is not properly diagnosed and repaired, it could lead to more serious problems once my vehicle is no longer under warranty. I am seeking a thorough and definitive resolution to ensure the long-term reliability of my vehicle. My Vehicle was purchased in March of 2025. This is unacceptable.
